About Christina & Rick

Christina M. Lee is a Jewelry Design Artist who enjoys creating beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces out of all different elements: glass, wood, paper, gold, silver and clay. Her current jewelry designs available at the Gallery are in fused glass, handmade lampwork beads and PMC (precious metal clay). She incorporates semi-precious gems (Swarovski, unikite, howlite, coral, pearl) and precious metal (sterling silver and gold) with her handmade lampwork beads and fused glass focal pieces. Christina also creates fused glass items such as mezuzahs and sushi dish sets and has plans for more fused glass items coming in the near future. Her hand painted silk scarves are just the beginning of other textile arts to come, she has plans for hand painted silk neck ties and other silk clothing in the near future. Christina loves creating beautiful things for herself, and for other people to wear and enjoy. Purchase her work in person at the Gallery or from her website www.creationsbychristina.net. It has been a dream of Christina's to own her own art gallery for many, many years. That dream is finally becoming a reality. She also loves to teach art and enjoys teaching her grandchildren and their friends and is currently teaching classes in lampwork bead making and silk painting. Some of the upcoming classes will be fused glass, stained glass, slumped glass, bead stringing, and batik.

Both are both scuba divers, (another reason they love living in Florida) and make regular trips to the Florida Keys and Caribbean for diving. Their son is also a diver and their two oldest grandchildren are junior divers. They are having a blast diving with their teenage grandchildren!!
